Family therapy aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members in order to solve the problems of one or more individuals.

 

Teenagers


Individual therapy is helpful through the teenage years to address unique concerns at this stage of life to support them in becoming healthy adults. While parent-caregiver feedback is requested, sessions occur between the teenager and therapist.

Hello! I am Stephanie and my passion is working with women and girls who have experienced trauma and are ready to move forward from the effects of it. Getting through the day can be a struggle after trauma occurs. It can feel like your personality completely changes. Like you are unseen, unheard, and a burden. But it is possible to feel whole again. To feel like you did before the trauma. When you work with me, you will be able to manage emotions that feel out of control and find your voice again.

I believe in an eclectic approach to working with people. I utilize modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting (BSP), Emotionally Focused Individual Trauma Therapy (EFIT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I have also completed trainings in EMDR and Attachment, and Circle of Security- Parenting.
